The Workman Electronics SWR-3P SWR / Power / Field Strength meter is a handy, compact device for an amateur radio station, or advanced CB operator, for checking the transceivers radio antenna system. For SWR measurements, the bridge method of comparing the voltage supplied to and reflected from the antenna system is used. The user can accurately and quickly calibrate the meter and read the results on the meter. For RF power measurements, the average voltage form a carrier detector is measured. Continuous monitoring of the transmitter output is possible by having the instrument in the circuit at all times. To use as a field strength meter simply disconnect it from the feed line and attach the small pickup antenna, included. This meter is suitable for both QRP and full power (100W) stations, and for HF frequencies from 1.7Mhz to 30Mhz and VHF frequencies up to 150MHz.
