Works best with Windows XP. W7 / W8 / W10 will require the use of the older, included, driver to function. May require additional troubleshooting under W8 / W10.

What chip set is used? Ftdi or prolific or?
It is an older Prolific chip. I do not recommend this cable for newer versions of Windows unless you are familiar with advanced driver installs. I have confirmed functional using Chirp, with Prolific 3.2 Driver, on W10, using Icom 2200H radio. Thanks Bill
