Range of this radio
The radio is a standard 5W unit. Range is limited by the environment it is being used in. A urban city will yield about 3 KM where an open flat land 10KM, and from a hill to a valley 40+KM. The higher off the ground the antenna is, with nothing inbetween, the farther the signal will go. You can watch the video here to get a better idea about radio range:
