Tram Browning BR180 antenne radio amateur mobile NMO double bande VHF/UHF 100W

Photos of antenna showed a spring but delivered antenna did not have it. Returned for different model.

I own 6 Browning antennas. I really like them. They come pre-tuned for 2 meter 70 centimeter bands. They work very well. I have different sizes of the Tram Browning antennas for different uses, and they all work great. I even have one on my travel trailer with a mag mount on sheet metal that I put on the roof of the trailer for a ground plane. It works quite well.

With so many comments that this antenna does not have a spring and is not black, one would think Amazon would correct that discrepancy by now. I too am looking for an antenna with a spring. I will spend my money elsewhere.

There are several models of this antenna. The one pictured (and in the beginning of the description) is black and has a spring at the base. That's what the WSP in the model means. This one is the plain ordinary BR-180, chrome and no spring. Still a nice antenna, but not what is described in a very confusing description which mentions both models but pictures the one you aren't going to get.

Ordered because it is black and has a base spring WSPBR180. WSP=with spring. A stainless steel without spring was sent. This is a good antenna brand I have a SS but I need the black. B4 you ask this is for AMATEUR 2M/70CM radios WILL NOT WORK ON CB! Was returned
