Your Retevis RA89 radio is a rugged, IP67 waterproof workhorse. This Retevis Speaker Microphone is the *only* mic designed to create a waterproof seal with it. A standard K1 mic will work, but it will leave your radio's accessory port vulnerable to water, dust, and mud.
This mic's special IP67-rated threaded plug screws onto the radio, sealing the connection completely. The mic head itself is rainproof, making this the perfect, rugged audio solution for any RA89 user who operates in the harsh Canadian weather.

This microphone uses a proprietary, waterproof, screw-in K1-style plug. It is NOT a standard K1 plug.
- FITS: Retevis RA89
- DOES NOT FIT: Baofeng UV-5R, Quansheng UV-K5, Retevis A3, Ailunce H1, or any other radio that uses a standard 2-pin K1 plug.
