This scanner supports DMR and NXDN digital modes (commonly used by rail, business, and amateur radio).
It does NOT support P25 or Trunking (commonly used by Police, Fire, and Ambulance). If you need to monitor public safety trunked systems, please look at the Uniden SDS200 or BCD536HP.
