To use DMR networks (like BrandMeister or TGIF), you must build or download a Codeplug utilizing Talkgroups, Color Codes, and Timeslots. Please be aware that DMR has a steep learning curve and requires computer programming using the free Ailunce software.

Because this radio is IP68 waterproof, it does not use the standard 2-Pin Kenwood plug found on Baofengs. It requires specific Ailunce HD1/HD2 multi-pin waterproof accessories (similar to the Motorola GP328Plus connector). Standard 2-pin speaker mics will not fit.
