Keep your digital two-way transceivers fully charged and ready for action with the BF-TECH CA Desktop Rapid Drop-In Charger with AC Adapter for DM-1701 DMR Series. Engineered as a complete OEM-spec replacement charging set for digital mobile radio (DMR) handhelds, this kit includes both the precision-molded desktop drop-in cradle and a matched regulated 110V AC wall power adapter.
Because Tier I & II DMR transceivers incorporate a deeper, high-capacity battery profile, standard analog radio docks cannot properly seat them. The DM-1701 charging cradle features custom internal guide rails that provide dual-mode drop-in capability—allowing you to charge an entire handheld transceiver with its belt clip attached, or charge a standalone 7.4V DMR battery pack on its own. An intelligent microprocessor controller regulates the power delivery, ensuring rapid charge cycles while defending against cell degradation, overheating, and overcharging.
📻 Amateur Radio Licensing Notice
This charging accessory is designed for use with compatible two-way transceivers. An Amateur Radio Operator Certificate issued by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) (or an FCC Amateur License for US operators) is required to operate transmitting equipment on amateur frequencies. Licensed operators are responsible for ensuring station operation complies with the guidelines set out in ISED RBR-4.

This charging base is molded specifically for the DM-1701 DMR series chassis and its corresponding 7.4V Li-ion battery packs (including standard and OpenGD77-flashed DM-1701 transceivers). Note: This dock will not fit UV-5R or UV-82 series radios, which require the CH-5 or CH-8 charging cradles respectively.
