Keep your primary handheld transceivers charged, organized, and ready for deployment with the BF-TECH CA Desktop Rapid Drop-In Charger with AC Adapter. Engineered as a complete OEM-spec charging solution for the UV-5R platform, this set includes both the drop-in desktop cradle and the matched 110V AC wall power adapter.
Equipped with an intelligent microprocessor charging controller, the dock delivers a consistent, regulated constant-current / constant-voltage charging curve tailored to 7.4V Lithium-ion battery packs. The precision-molded cradle supports dual-mode drop-in charging, allowing you to charge a complete handheld radio (with belt clip attached) or slide in a standalone BL-5 or BL-5L extended battery pack on its own to keep spare packs in constant rotation.
📻 Amateur Radio Licensing Notice
This charging accessory is designed for use with compatible two-way transceivers. An Amateur Radio Operator Certificate issued by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) (or an FCC Amateur License for US operators) is required to operate transmitting equipment on amateur frequencies. Licensed operators are responsible for ensuring station operation complies with the guidelines set out in ISED RBR-4.

This charging base is molded specifically for the UV-5R chassis series and BL-5 battery family. It accommodates the BF-TECH CA BF-F8RT, UV-5R, BF-F5XT, BF-F5XP, BF-F8, BF-F8X3, Baofeng UV-5R (all sub-variants: 5RA, 5RB, 5RC, 5RD, 5RE, Plus, V2+), and BF-F8HP, as well as standalone BL-5 (1800mAh) and BL-5L (3800mAh) batteries. Note: This dock does not fit UV-82 series radios, which require the CH-8 cradle.
