Engineered as a complete OEM-spec replacement charging system for the UV-82 radio chassis, this set includes both the drop-in desktop charging cradle and the matching 110V AC wall power supply.
Equipped with an intelligent microprocessor charging circuit, the cradle delivers a steady, regulated current to 7.4V Lithium-ion battery packs while safeguarding against overcharge and overheating. The precision-molded pocket supports dual-mode charging—allowing you to drop in a complete transceiver (with belt clip attached) or charge a standalone BL-8 battery pack independently for continuous shift rotations.
📻 Amateur Radio Licensing Notice
This charging accessory is designed for use with compatible two-way transceivers. An Amateur Radio Operator Certificate issued by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) (or an FCC Amateur License for US operators) is required to operate transmitting equipment on amateur frequencies. Licensed operators are responsible for ensuring station operation complies with the guidelines set out in ISED RBR-4.

It accommodates the BF-TECH CA UV-82RT, Baofeng UV-82, UV-82HP, UV-82C, UV-82X, UV-82L, UV-8D, GMRS-V1, and MURS-V1, as well as standalone BL-8 standard (2800mAh) and extended (3800mAh) battery packs. Note: This dock does not fit UV-5R or BF-F8 radios, which require the CH-5 series cradle.
