Engineered specifically for IP67-rated waterproof transceivers and their specialized battery packs, this complete charging kit includes both the heavy-duty drop-in charging base and a matched North American AC wall power supply.
Because waterproof radios feature heavier chassis casing, gasketed seals, and unique battery alignment tracks, standard charging cradles will not seat properly. The BF-TECH CA UV-9R dock is precision-molded to accommodate these wider contours, supporting dual-mode drop-in charging for a fully assembled radio or a standalone spare waterproof battery pack. Equipped with a smart microprocessor charging circuit, the base manages the charge curve to safeguard your battery against overcharging, overheating, and short circuits.

This charging accessory is designed for use with compatible two-way transceivers. An Amateur Radio Operator Certificate issued by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) (or an FCC Amateur License for US operators) is required to operate transmitting equipment on amateur frequencies. Licensed operators are responsible for ensuring station operation complies with the guidelines set out in ISED RBR-4.
