Program and manage memory channels on your mini mobile transceiver with the BF-TECH CA USB Programming Cable for QYT KT-8900 Series Mobile Radios. Entering frequencies, repeater offsets, and CTCSS/DCS sub-audible tones by hand via a microphone keypad can be tedious and prone to manual input errors. This dedicated interface cable establishes a stable serial bridge between your PC and transceiver, allowing you to flash complete 200-channel codeplugs in seconds.
Designed specifically for QYT-architecture mini mobile rigs, this cable connects directly into the radio's dedicated 3.5mm programming port. Fully supported by the popular open-source CHIRP software suite as well as factory OEM Customer Programming Software (CPS), it streamlines channel organization, power level settings, and squelch parameters for cross-country road trips, amateur club nets, and field deployments.
📻 Amateur Radio Licensing Notice
This programming cable is used to configure memory channels and operating parameters on compatible two-way transceivers. An Amateur Radio Operator Certificate issued by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) (or an FCC Amateur License for US operators) is required to operate transmitting equipment on amateur frequencies. Licensed operators are responsible for ensuring station operation complies with the guidelines set out in ISED RBR-4.
🔌 Dedicated 3.5mm Mobile Data Interface
This cable features a dedicated 3.5mm serial data plug designed specifically for the programming port on mini mobile transceivers, including the QYT KT-8900, KT-8900R, KT-7900D, KT-UV980, and KT-980 Plus. Note: This cable does not use a 2-pin K1 connector and will not fit handheld radios such as the UV-5R or UV-82 series.
