This programming cable is used to configure memory channels and operating parameters on compatible two-way transceivers. An Amateur Radio Operator Certificate issued by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) (or an FCC Amateur License for US operators) is required to operate transmitting equipment on amateur frequencies.
