Use Baofeng Antennas on Your Scanner: This is the perfect adapter for using popular, low-cost SMA-Female antennas on your BNC-equipped device.
✅ Compatibility Check
This adapter allows a device with a BNC-Female port to use an antenna with an SMA-Female plug.
- DEVICES This Fits: Most Uniden, Whistler, and GRE handheld scanners, older Icom HTs (e.g., IC-V86), and test equipment.
- ANTENNAS This Fits: Baofeng, Quansheng, and Retevis RT5R-style antennas (any SMA antenna with a center hole).
⚠️ Check Your Connectors
This adapter does NOT fit "Japanese-style" antennas (like those for a Yaesu FT-60R) as those antennas have a center pin.
