This is the standard for mobile installations. The DistribuComm 18-foot (5.5 meter) RG58 coaxial cable is the ideal length for running an antenna from a trunk lip mount, magnetic mount, or truck bed to the radio on your dashboard.
It comes pre-terminated with high-quality molded PL-259 (UHF-Male) connectors on both ends. Built with 95% copper shielding, this cable provides excellent protection against RF interference in your vehicle or shack.
🛡️ Why 95% Shielding Matters
Cheap cables often use as little as 60% braid coverage, which allows RF interference to leak in and out. This cable uses 95% copper braid shielding.
This premium shielding helps keep your signal inside the cable and significantly reduces (though does not completely eliminate) RF interference and noise, which is critical in modern vehicles with noisy electronics.
