The Uniden BCD325P2 packs serious digital performance into a compact, traditional handheld design. It features Uniden's powerful TrunkTracker V technology, allowing you to monitor modern APCO P25 Phase 1 and Phase 2 digital systems used by police, fire, and ambulance services across North America.
With 25,000 dynamic channels, GPS compatibility, and Close Call RF capture, this scanner offers professional-grade monitoring in a size that fits easily in your pocket. It is the perfect choice for the enthusiast who prefers a traditional, programmable scanner over a database-driven model.
-
🚓
P25 Phase 1 & 2 Digital: Decodes standard P25 digital trunking systems right out of the box, ensuring you can hear modern public safety communications.
-
📡
TrunkTracker V Technology: Follows conversations across analog and digital trunked systems, including Motorola, EDACS, LTR, and P25.
-
🔍
Close Call RF Capture: Instantly detects and tunes to nearby strong signals, perfect for finding active frequencies at events or on the road.
-
💾
25,000 Dynamic Channels: Flexible memory management lets you store thousands of frequencies, organized exactly how you want them.
-
🛰️
GPS Compatible: Connect an optional GPS receiver (sold separately) for location-based scanning that automatically selects systems as you travel.
💡 Note: User Programming Required
Unlike the "HomePatrol" series (BCD436HP/SDS100), this scanner does not have the full USA/Canada database built-in.
You must program your local frequencies into the scanner manually or by using PC software (like FreeSCAN or ProScan). This gives you total control over what you scan.
💡 Optional Digital Upgrades
The BCD325P2 includes P25 Phase 1 & 2 out of the box.
Support for DMR, NXDN, and ProVoice digital modes is available as a paid upgrade key purchased directly from Uniden. Note: A firmware update is required to enable these features.
⚠️ Disclaimer: Encryption
Please be aware that this scanner (and all other scanners on the market) cannot decode encrypted transmissions.
If your local Police, Fire, or EMS agency uses full encryption, no scanner will be able to monitor them. We recommend checking the RadioReference database for your area before purchasing.
