The Uniden SDS200 is the most advanced base/mobile scanner available today. It brings the same revolutionary True I/Q Software Defined Radio (SDR) technology found in the handheld SDS100 to a powerful desktop format, solving the issue of digital simulcast distortion in urban areas.
Designed for your shack or vehicle, the SDS200 features a massive 3.5" customizable colour display, ethernet connectivity for streaming or remote control, and a full DIN-E chassis for professional mobile installation. It is the ultimate monitoring station for modern public safety systems.
-
📡
True I/Q Receiver: The only scanner technology capable of perfectly decoding digital simulcast systems (LSM) in challenging RF environments.
-
🖥️
Large 3.5" Colour Display: A huge, bright screen allows you to see more information at a glance. Fully customizable colors and data fields.
-
🇨🇦
Location-Based Scanning: Simply enter your Canadian Postal Code (or US Zip Code) and the scanner automatically loads local channels from the built-in database.
-
🌐
Ethernet Connectivity: Built-in RJ45 LAN port allows for remote control and audio streaming over your network (requires 3rd party software).
-
🚘
Mobile/Base Design: Includes everything needed for home use (AC adapter) or vehicle use (DC cable and mounting bracket). Fits standard DIN 1.5 slots.
💡 Important Note on Digital Modes
The SDS200 works with APCO P25 Phase 1 and Phase 2, Motorola, EDACS, and LTR trunking right out of the box.
Other digital modes such as DMR, NXDN, and ProVoice are optional paid upgrades that must be purchased separately directly from Uniden.
⚠️ Disclaimer: Encryption
Please be aware that this scanner (and all other scanners on the market) cannot decode encrypted transmissions.
If your local Police, Fire, or EMS agency uses full encryption, no scanner will be able to monitor them. We recommend checking the RadioReference database for your area before purchasing to confirm that your local channels are unencrypted ("in the clear").
