To ensure prompt, road-ready operation, every PoFung P10UV is bench-tested and pre-loaded at our Surrey, BC facility with BC Resource Road (RR) channels (RR-1 to RR-35), LADD 1-4, and standard B1 commercial calling channels. Simply attach the antenna, power on, and switch directly to your required road channel.

🔒 VFO Locked for ISED Regulatory Compliance

To satisfy Canadian Land Mobile regulatory certification requirements, the VFO (Direct Frequency Entry) is locked from the front keypad. All channel frequency additions, tone modifications, or custom frequency reprogramming must be completed via computer programming software. This prevents accidental programming which can lead to accidental interference.

The P10UV combines high-visibility construction with versatile dual-band coverage. In addition to commercial logging road communications, licensed amateur radio operators will appreciate the integrated 16-key DTMF keypad, enabling full over-the-air tone control for repeater autopatches, IRLP nodes, and EchoLink internet links.

Battery & Charging Flexibility

Keep powered up on remote roads. The P10UV package includes an AC 110V drop-in desktop charging cradle for home or shop bases. In the field, the battery pack also features a direct USB-C input compatible with standard USB-C to USB-A charging cables (such as vehicle cigarette lighter USB ports or battery banks). Note: Type-C to Type-C Power Delivery cables are not compatible.

To legally operate on public resource roads, logging corridors, or private business frequencies, the operator must hold a valid Land Mobile Radio Licence from ISED Canada.
