The Portable TinySA Spectrum Analyzer (Upgraded V0.3.1) is an indispensable handheld diagnostic tool for the radio amateur, RF engineer, or DIY electronics enthusiast. Covering a massive spectrum from 100 kHz up to 960 MHz across dual SMA input ports, this pocket-sized instrument visualizes active RF signals, identifies interference, and analyzes real-world radio propagation. Your purchase is fully backed by Fleetwood Digital’s 90-Day Canadian Warranty.
⚠️ Critical Hardware Limits: Read Before Use
The TinySA is a highly sensitive diagnostic analyzer, not a dummy load. NEVER connect a two-way radio or transmitter directly to the TinySA without using a heavy-duty inline attenuator.
The absolute maximum RF input limit for both the HIGH and LOW ports is +10dBm (10 milliwatts) and 10VDC Max. Transmitting even 1 Watt directly into the analyzer will instantly destroy the internal components. This type of damage is not covered under warranty.
Performance & Engineering Highlights
-
📊
Dual-Port RF Sweeping Utilize the dedicated LOW port for analyzing MF, HF, and VHF signals (100 kHz to 350 MHz) and the HIGH port for scanning the UHF spectrum (240 MHz to 960 MHz).
-
🖥️
PC Control & Visualization While fully operational via its 2.8-inch resistive touch screen, you can connect the TinySA via USB-C to Windows, Android, or Linux devices to mirror the spectrum data onto a larger monitor for advanced analysis.
-
📡
Included Telescopic Antenna Comes out of the box with a telescopic whip antenna, transforming the TinySA into a portable "sniffer" to locate localized RF interference, evaluate repeater output, or check for active nearby transmissions.
-
🔋
Internal Rechargeable Battery Powered by a built-in battery for untethered field diagnostics. Recharges easily using a standard 5V USB (500mA) connection.
