The Workman WEP148 (NVA-148) is a high-gain, 1/2-wave NMO mobile VHF antenna engineered with No Ground Plane (NGP) capability. Designed for versatile field deployment, it provides reliable 2.4 dBd gain without requiring a large metallic roof ground plane, making it ideal for mirror mounts, pipe brackets, fiberglass bodies, UTVs, heavy equipment, and standard vehicle installs.
✂️ Precision Cutting Chart Included
This antenna features a field-tunable whip covering 133 to 182 MHz with a broad 20 MHz operating bandwidth. Using the included NVA-148 bottom-cut chart and Allen hex key, simply measure from the top of the whip, trim from the bottom with heavy wire cutters, insert fully into the base adapter, and tighten the set screws for an exact SWR match.
