If you've been in the radio hobby for any length of time, you know the Antron A-99. This antenna is a legend, plain and simple. For decades, it has been the "go-to" high-performance, low-cost base station antenna for CB operators and 10-Metre hams alike.
Its famous 3-section fiberglass design is easy to assemble, lightweight, and incredibly durable, standing up to harsh Canadian winters. The A-99 is designed to handle 2000 watts, making it the perfect choice for running a linear amplifier. Out of the box, it's ready for 11-Metre (CB) use and can be easily tuned for the 10-Metre and 12-Metre amateur bands.
💡 License & Band Notice
This antenna is designed for the 11-Metre CB band (license not required). It is also highly effective for the 10-Metre and 12-Metre ham bands, but a valid Amateur Radio Operator Certificate is required to transmit on those frequencies.
