Tuned specifically for North American amateur spectrum under ITU Region 2 (144–148 MHz 2M VHF and 430–450 MHz 70cm UHF), the NA-771 captures faint incoming signals that stock antennas miss entirely while optimizing RF radiation patterns into local repeaters. Constructed with a heavy-duty flexible silicone whip element, it bends freely under brush and backpack straps without kinking or taking a permanent set. Featuring an SMA-Female connector, it installs directly onto popular handheld radios featuring an SMA-Male chassis stud.
📻 Amateur Radio Licensing Notice
This antenna is tuned for amateur radio transceiver operation. An Amateur Radio Operator Certificate issued by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) (or an FCC Amateur License for US operators) is required to operate transmitting equipment on amateur frequencies. Licensed operators are responsible for ensuring station operation complies with the guidelines set out in ISED RBR-4.

This antenna features a standard SMA-Female connector (internal threads with a recessed center receptacle). It threads directly onto handheld radios equipped with an SMA-Male chassis stud, including the BF-TECH CA BF-F8RT, UV-5R, UV-82RT, BF-F5XT, BF-F5XP, and standard Baofeng UV-series transceivers. A form-fitting rubber weather washer is included to seal the base against dust and moisture.
