This amplifier is designed for low-power QRP radios ONLY. The maximum recommended input power is:
- 0.5 to 10 Watts (AM/FM/SSB)
Applying more than 10W of power will destroy the final transistors and void the warranty. This amplifier is NOT compatible with standard 100-watt transceivers (like the Icom 7300 or Yaesu 891) or any CB radio.

Can I use this for FM?

Yes, this can drive an AM/FM/SSB Signal, but do dot feed anymore than 10W into the unit.

Can this be modified for other frequencies?
While there are no user servicable parts inside the unit the manual would seem to indicate similar performance on 12M also. Feel free to reach put should you have additional questions.
