SMA-Male to SO-239 (UHF-Female) Adapter for Icom / Yaesu / Kenwood & RT85

Description
This adapter is the key to unlocking the full potential of your Yaesu, Icom, or Retevis RT85 handheld. It solves the problem of how to connect your radio to a high-performance external antenna.
Designed specifically for radios with an SMA-Female antenna port (a port with a center hole), this adapter provides a secure SMA-Male (Center Pin) connection that converts your radio to a standard SO-239 socket. This allows you to plug in any standard PL-259 coaxial cable from a mag mount, base station, or mobile antenna.

🔌
Connector 1: SMA-Male (With Pin): Features threads on the *inside* and a center pin. Designed to screw onto radios that have a center hole.
-
📡
Connector 2: SO-239 (UHF-Female): The standard connector for mobile and base antennas. Accepts any standard PL-259 plug.
-
🌲
Perfect for Logging Radios: This is the exact adapter needed to connect a Retevis RT85 to a magnetic mount antenna for use on logging roads.
✅ Compatibility Check: Fits Radios with a Center Hole
This adapter fits radios that have an SMA-Female jack (a hole in the center of the antenna connector).

⚠️ DOES NOT FIT Baofeng UV-5R
This adapter does NOT fit the Baofeng UV-5R, UV-82, or Retevis RT5R. Those radios have a *pin* on the radio body and require the opposite (SMA-Female) adapter.
